Just put on 6 racks of ribs using my new bag of Wicked Good.
I didn't find it was all that hard to light - just put my fire cube snuggled down an inch or so and then, as the French say, Viola! Fire. It did take a few minutes longer to get "up to speed" but quite frankly I didn't think it was all that hard to light.
Chunk sizes were awesome! Mostly fist size or larger with just a very few smaller pieces and virtually no dust!
Let's see what happens
When I did a steak. HOLY CRAP! I had Mr. Egg cranked to well over 1500º!
Iwas afraid to go any further - and it would have gone too - because I
wasn't sure what the Egg might do. Great sear on that one, I can tell you.
All in all Wicked Good Lump is my all time favorite.

Good stuff guys!

Lee and Larry,

Thanks for putting out such a great product. WGC was a huge part of our BBQ competition success in 2005. We won 5 Grand Championships and 2nd
place Pork at the Jack Daniels using WGC. WGC delivers a clean,
consistent flavor and amazingly long burn times. We regularly cook an entire contest on a single bag of charcoal. We'll be buying another pallet soon.

Best regards,
Chris Hart

I've got to say, the product is outstanding! I loaded up the firebox
on my Grill Dome and cooked burgers for the kids, ramped down the vents and let the temp stabilize at about 240, then cooked a pork butt overnight for about 11 hours. So total cook time was about 14 hours. I snuffed the fire and later that afternoon opened the GD to find over half the firebox full of charcoal. AMAZING!
This is going to be GREAT...

Once I got the charcoal lit it worked like a dream! I did an 8 hr pork shoulder roast, 2 chickens for 1.5 hrs, smoked 12 hotdogs, cooked 8 hamburgers, and a steak all on 2 batches of charcoal. the reason it was 2 batches was that I had 2 grills going, but the first batch was lit @ 0800 and was still going @1800. After 2230 I closed the grill vents hoping to smother the coals. I'm sold and I have a guy that regularly goes to New Hampshire, I couldn't be any happier.

This stuff is fantastic. In my Bar-b-cook Oyster it really isn't too difficult to get going. Once lit, it spreads quickly and evenly. Great charcoal, much better, IMO, then BGE. This size of some of these pieces too... wow.
Thanks again for your help - I will be doing some slow smoked ribs today, I can't wait. Cheers!

Larry ...We finally used your charcoal today and when half way done our one cook I asked how he liked the charcoal

Response was : I'm Impressed..for 250 halves of chicken we used 5 bags where we used 12 of kingsford!

Wow! Thanks for the immediate response. I have just burned 2 bags of your charcoal and it burns MUCH longer, and MUCH hotter than Cowboy. I am at all times looking to improve my product, and the addition of a longer/hotter burning charcoal is just one more rung in the ladder. The next rainy day I will make the pilgrimage to Worcester. It is actually only a 40 minute drive. I will probably want about 20 bags. BTW $11 is a great price. Thank you for considering me as a wholesale customer.
Thanks again for the immediate response. I can tell already you are the type of folks it is going to be fun doing business with.

Leeann, this stuff is awesome, burns great, not too hot, lasts forever.
I did some steaks and burgers last night, very nice. I can't believe how long it
lasted - after I was done, I put the lid on and closed the dampers, went out quickly.
I'll buy more.

I got my box of WGC - thanks so much for throwing in the extra bags! You guys are great!
My first cook this weekend with the WGC was spare ribs, and they were awesome! The charcoal does it!

Lee ann, A guy in Atlanta is getting about 80 bags from you guys and that will make the shipping a lot less expensive and I can get my bags from him.

Thank you for your wonderful customer service.

Wicked Good (great stuff though). The temperature was easy to control; the smoke was nice and mild so I could easily add my own flavor chunks.
I was impressed with the size of the chunks; there wasn't a lot of little stuff.
